KUWAIT (KUNA): The record hike in prices of the aviation fuel is due to affect air travel during the summer season. Certainly this is bad news for regular Kuwaiti holidaymakers, say market watchers. The continous hike in oil prices, expected to proceed for a long time, adds to the challanges faced by the air navigation, where the cost of the aircraft fuel constitutes 30 percent of the operational cost of the long-distance flights, compared to 15 percent two years ago.
